Supporting you to live, your way

If you or someone you care for could do with an extra helping hand to support them to live independently, take a read of our impact report to learn how we've been supporting others.

We'd love to hear from you to chat more about how we might be able to help you or your loved ones.

Independent living support is under growing pressure, yet demand has never been higher.

Across the UK, more adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism and long-term conditions are being encouraged to live independently, often with less publicly funded support than before. Eligibility thresholds are tightening, unmet need is increasing, and more people are being asked to organise care for themselves.

This impact report captures what that reality looks like on the ground, and what effective, personalised support delivers. The findings are clear: effective independent living support is built on consistency, trust and adaptability.

Behind the data are real people facing complex challenges, from housing insecurity to long-term mental health needs.

The stories within this report show how flexible, relationship-based support can reduce crisis, restore stability and enable people to live with greater independence and dignity.

Welcome from our General Manager

"This report shares information on how we've been helping our clients in the past year, so as a reader, it should give you an idea of what we can do. We're committed to taking the time to get to know everyone we work with, to understand their needs, goals, and challenges, in order to offer personalised support. We can then carefully match each client to the right support worker, someone who will celebrate client individuality, encourage new skills, and help increase confidence in everyday life.

"It's through this personalised approach that we've helped hundreds of individuals work towards life goals during 2025.
If you, or someone you know, would benefit from this type of support, please do get in touch with us for a chat.

"I hope you enjoy learning a bit more about us and look forward to working together in the future."

Justin Rodway, General Manager at SiLS
