IMG 9707Looking after your health is really important, as it helps prevent you from becoming ill or needing to visit the doctor too often.

Do you look after your health? Do you feel this this important to you? If not, it may be important to other people in your life who care about you. Keeping healthy can also add to your overall feel good factor.

If you have a long term illness or a medical condition, are you able to manage it? What about medication?  If you have it, are you orgainised so that you take it as prescribed?

Many people often talk about weight. It isn't healthy to be very over weight or very under weight. Even if your weight is fine, it is important to eat a healthy diet. Would you like to eat in a more healthy way? See also cooking in  'Daily Living'

Some people like keep fit by going to a gym. Joining a gym or health club and going on a regular basis may help to improve your health and it's also a great way of meeting new people.

You may already have a personal Health Action Plan that has been created by you and your doctor. If not, you may like to focus on becoming healthier by having your own plan.

All of the above can help with mental well-being too. If you have mental health issues, you may want support to help you care more about yourself and this includes keeping as physically healthy as possible.
